Pregnancy
Regulations laid down by airlines require that ladies who are 28
weeks pregnant or more must have a doctor's note before they can fly.
Ladies who are 32 weeks pregnant or more are generally refused
travel. These regulations vary depending which airline you travel
with so it is advisable that you check before you travel. We also
advise that you consult your doctor before flying whilst pregnant.
Special Needs
Although we specialize in holidays for our customers we are not
specialists in providing holidays to people who have special needs
and who need special assistance. We will of course do everything we
can to help you with your special needs if you advise us when booking
your holiday.
Baby Equipment
Baby Equipment (Cots, High Chairs, Bouncers etc) is not
available as standard in our villa's however it is available just
request it when booking
Lost Property
It is essential that you take care of your belongings whilst on
holidays as we can not guarantee that any lost items will be
recovered. If items are left behind in the Villa we will do our best
to make sure that they are found however, this is not always
possible. For items that are recovered there will be a charge for
postal. Jet Quest can not be held responsible for any loss or damage
of your own personal property / possessions. It is important to
ensure that you have adequate travel / holiday / sickness insurance
in place.
Car Hire
Your hire car is an essential part of your holiday giving you the
freedom to come and go as you please. Its best that you book your car
hire before you travel to ensure it's reserved for you and to take
advantages of lower pre-booked rates. Remember to book a car that is
large enough for all occupants to sit in seats with seat belts and
for all the luggage. We can advise on the best choice of cars from an
economy care to a minibus at very competitive prices, more details
are on our Car Hire Page. To drive
you'll need a valid UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 1 year
and be at least 23 years of age. Ensure you have your driving
licence, passport and the vehicle rental documents with you at all times.
It is a legal requirement for motorists travelling to or transiting
Spain to carry two red warning triangles to be placed, in the event
of an accident or breakdown, in front of and behind the vehicle.
In addition, drivers must have a spare pair of spectacles (if needed
for driving), a spare wheel, and a full set of spare bulbs plus the
tools to change them. If at any time you have to descend from
your vehicle due to accident or breakdown, or whilst awaiting the
arrival of the emergency services, it is obligatory to wear a
reflective jacket. Failure to do so could result in a heavy fine.
Pets
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in any of our villas as they are
privately owned.
Welcome Pack
Included in the cost of your holiday is a welcome arrival pack so you
can have a drink and even a light meal at arrival at your villa.
Please advise us of any allergies or vegetarian / vegan when booking
your holiday and we will be happy to assist.
Using the phone
With the advent of mobile phone "roaming" most mobiles
phones will operate in Europe allowing you to make and receive calls.
Call charges can be high so please check with your network provider
about the costs involved. For convenience and ease of contact
with family and friends we do advise that if you have a mobile phone
you take it with you.
Electrical Appliances
Electricity is supplied at 220v, most UK appliances such as hair
dryers will work but youll need a two pin plug adapter which
are usually supplied in each villa.
Swimming Pools
One of the main attractions is the exclusive use of your own pool.
However, pools need some care and attention to ensure trouble free
operation and to ensure your own safety.
-
Non-swimmers, infants and young children should always be supervised
when in or around the pool.
-
Ensure the water level is not below the skimmer otherwise the pump
may burn out. Top it up with the hose provided and take care not to
splash too much.
-
Diving is not allowed.
-
Pools are serviced weekly and should be clean on your arrival. If
there are a few leaves in the water theyll cause you no harm
and are easily removed with the skim net. Occasionally, particularly
after rain storms, dust is washed into the pool, again this is quite
normal and if not removed by the filtration process will be removed
during the weekly service. Not a cause for concern.
If, however, the water is not clear and you cant see the
bottom, or if there is a green hue to the water, inform the Villa
Managers, the pool will be attended to as soon as possible.
Pool Heating
Some pools have heating which is specified in the Villa description
and is usually supplied for an extra charge. An electric heat pump is
the most common heater, when used in conjunction with a bubble cover
(if available) it will keep the water temperature very comfortable.
Currency
We advise that you only take a small amount of currency, as is is
safer and easier to charge most things to your credit card. Credit
Cards are accepted in most shops and restaurants. However we do
advise that you confirm acceptance before you eat as it may cause
embarrasment when the bill arrives. In addition, there are many ATM
machines that will accept UK cards with your usual pin number,
However some companies / banks will charge you for using your card
abroad. We advise that you check with the company / bank before your holiday.
Baggage
Each airline decides on the amount of free baggage carried for each
passenger. This allowance will be detailed on your flight tickets how
ever the usual is around 20kg per person.
